Ministry Teams

Whoever you are or wherever you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here.

The Worship and Music Ministry Team

works with our organist/pianist, choir director and our pastor to enhance the worship experience especially through special services and events. These include Hanging of the Greens worship in Advent, Lenten study, Holy Week services and an annual service in the park.

The Christian Education Team

oversees the running of both the child and adult Sunday School classes. This team also sponsors fundraising events as UNICEF, Heifer International and special activities as Rally Day, Vacation Bible School and a children’s choir.

The Evangelism Team

welcome all within the church and coordinate events such as the Affton Days Parade and New Members’ dinner. They work toward church growth and relations with the community at large.

The Building and Grounds Team

is responsible for maintenance and repair issues of the church itself as well as the parsonage and rental property. They assist the Church Council in providing guidelines for the use of the church building to community groups.
