eGive Is Ready! The new online giving site, eGive, is up and running and several of our members are using it! If you would like to start making your contributions via electronic debit, please visit our website: www.edenucc.org and click on “Online Giving” and you will be directed to the eGive website. You decide how much and how often you want to give. If you want to give to more than one fund, you can do that too! You just indicate it in the “Breakout of Giving” section. Please sign up! Paper forms are available if you do not have internet access and would like to give electronically. Forms are located in the Upper Room on the table under the mailboxes.

Health Kits Women’s Fellowship will be collecting items for Health Kits in July. All items should be sealed in a 1-gallon bag with zipper closure. It costs $1 to mail the bags, so if you would like to help with postage, please include the money in your bag. Items needed: 1-hand towel; 1-wash cloth; 1-sturdy comb; 1-metal nail file or nail clipper; 1-bar of soap in wrapper; 1-toothbrush in original packaging; 6-Band-Aids. Thanks for your support!

How Can You Help? Flooding in the Mid West has turned streets into rivers and rivers into wild torrents that busted through dams and thundered over banks, destroying buildings and forcing the evacuation of hundreds of homes in the region. These floods follow tornadoes that struck some of the same communities that are now flooded. The United Church of Christ’s, National Disaster Ministries, is seeking $200,000 for the current response and long term recovery efforts. If you would like to help, please mark your giving envelopes indicating your donation for “Tornado/Flood Victims” and we will get your donations to the UCC.

Habitat for Humanity Please remember to put our work date on your calendar, SATURDAY, JULY 12th. There is a signup sheet in the Upper Room—SIGN UP to build! The final build information is available, so if you’re helping, see Marcia or Karin for details. Our house is # 18, 3131 or 3135 Sheridan. Since we have 1 house for our church group, it’s important that we provide the full complement of workers, something we’ve cut back on in recent years, due to doubling up of churches on workdays. Not this year, so, please sign up to help build another house for a deserving family that’s willing to put in 400 hours of sweat equity themselves. If we don’t get enough people by the end of June, we will need to request people from other churches to help us out. So please sign up to help!

Food Pantry Canned Meat (tuna), Cereal, Baked Beans, Peanut Butter & Jelly, Macaroni & Cheese, Pasta, Canned Vegetables & Fruit, Powdered Milk (always needed). Please bring items to the church by July 13th.

Church Office Schedule Update

The church office schedule will change beginning this week. Starting June 17, Tracey will be in the office on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, from 1-4:30 PM. Tracey will be helping with her church’s Summer Camp for three weeks. Your understanding is very much appreciated!
