CHRISTIAN EDUCATION FOR CHILDREN
meets during worship, September through May. Children attend the beginning of worship before being dismissed to their classrooms after “Children’s Time”. In the classrooms our weekly scripture reading is explored with a variety of activities. There is no Sunday School on the first Sunday of every month when we celebrate Communion, so families can worship together. The combined Sunday School presents a Christmas pageant during worship in December and the Passion drama on Palm Sunday.
Sunday School has resumed for the 2023-2024 school year! New friends are always welcome.
CHRISTIAN EDUCATION FOR ADULTS
is available most Sunday mornings at 9:00 AM during the school year. Check with the office (314.631.8930 or office@edenucc.org) to verify current availability of Zoom access.
Rev. Randy Heckman is leading a Bible Study on First and Second Peter beginning March 10th, Sundays at 9 AM on the lower level.
DARTBALL
meets Tuesdays at 7PM from September through April at Eden and other participating churches. The schedule is printed at the beginning of the season in September. See the Eden Greeting newsletter for schedule.
ALL TOGETHER GROUP (FORMERLY YOUNG ADULTS FOREVER)
plans activities each quarter. Past activities include Mystery Show & Dinner, Grizzlies’ Baseball, Progressive Dinners and Concerts. Adults of all ages are welcome.
WOMEN’S SPIRITUAL GROWTH GROUP
meets on the first Monday of each month at 6:30 PM on the lower level. Meetings are held September through May.
The group is currently discussing the book “Accidental Saints” by Nadia Bolz-Weber. Please notify the office if the cost of the book prohibits you from participating. There is still time to join!
NURSERY CARE
for infants through kindergarten age is available during the Worship Service except for the first Sunday of the month in which we encourage families to share Communion together. We have a dedicated Childcare Assistant and volunteers to care for your precious little ones.
New Nursery volunteers are always welcome, please contact the church office for more information.
EDEN’S CHOIR
practices every other week on Wednesday night under the direction of our Music Director, Leah Milton. In addition, we have resumed our Christmas Cantata in 2023 which is open to all interested singers.
We also have a community ukulele group that meets in our church on Tuesday nights. All ages and musical abilities are welcome!
COMMUNION
is held during the Worship Service on the first Sunday of every month. All are invited to the communion table. Because all are welcome, there is no Sunday School or Nursery on Communion Sundays. Activity sheets will be provided for the children.
Virtual and in-person communion occurs during worship, monthly on the first Sunday of the month. Communion visits for our homebound and hospitalized members are available.
